There are plenty of bugs that break the file associations for. My computer also doesnt seem to recognise that im connected to the internet. I just had to post this since I spent the last 2. But i can load chrome fine. But nothing else will recognise it! Another profile already on the machine has the same issues. Then the same error messages starts for that new user as well. Hi did the computer work ok in safe mode and if so run the virus scan in safe mode. Just started having the problem about a month ago with both laptops. If there is no other answer, it could be a virus. I haven't played around with. Microsoft is not willing 2 help me so i think i should downgrade to windows xp.
