ALT TV has just started broadcasting on Channel 62 (UHF) in Auckland. Just a test card with Base FM at the moment, “going live mid November” according to BCL’s Jochen Siegenthaler in a post to the NZ Radio mailing list.

Googling around I note that there has been some PR activity regarding this and that it could be being branded under the Channel 62 name.

From here in the Inner Western Bays the reception doesn’t look too shabby.
